At 2 1/2, my son’s personality is beginning to emerge. We are learning that he has a love for guitars and rock and dance music. You should see him playing with his toy guitars and keyboards. He also plays a mean air guitar. He has recently been demonstrating quite a rebellious side as well. But isn’t that a typical toddler thing, to test the limits?
My 5-year-old daughter, while loving to wear dresses, is also a bit of a tomboy. She loves Star Wars, Batman and pirates. She also has quite an arm on her. You should see her throw a football.
I love to allow my children to express themselves, and clothing is a great way to let their little personalities shine through.
For my punk rocker of a boy, I’d love that little rock and roll side of him to come out, while still maintaining a bit of a preppy look.
I found just the styles I was looking for at Childish Clothing.
Childish Clothing was created by Skye Hoppus, a former MTV executive married to mark hoppus of blink 182 and +44, out of her pure passion for modern fashion and design. As a young mother, Hoppus was uninspired by maternity fashion while pregnant with her son Jack.

I absolutely love the screen tee that we were sent for my son. It is a long sleeve Raglan tee and it says, of all things, “Rebellious”. It is PERFECT.
Right away I could tell quite a difference between the quality of his new shirt from Childish Clothing, when compared to his other clothing, which I purchase at mainly Target, Wal-Mart and Old Navy.
He is just so handsome in it. I can’t wait to purchase a few more items for him, from their spring and summer collections.
I won’t let my daughter miss out on all the shopping. As I viewed their upcoming spring collection, I found the perfect dress for my punk princess who also loves unicorns.

I’ve wanted to try the Childish Clothing line for awhile now. I have the Bridget-1 maternity hoodie and it’s my favorite maternity top so something tells me I’d be equally enamored by Childish’s clothing line for kids.
I especially love the Cam-2 My Mom is My Hero shirt and the Elle shirts (bell sleeves for a tot! love it!). And the maternity tracksuits look SO comfortable – especially now that I’m in my third trimester.
