Easy Feeding With The Baby Dipper Bowl

I have a nine month old, which means baby food, bowls and spoons are part of my daily routine. I guess I failed to realize that when I fed my baby boy using my usual baby bowls, I was actually using both hands. While one hand held the spoon to scoop out the food, the other hand was holding the bowl in place. Convenient? Not really. But I guess as moms, we just get used to the way things are.

But there are those amazing women, who decide that really, there has GOT to be a better way. Barbara Schantz, mother of two sets of twins, is one of those incredible women. She wanted a free hand while feeding her twin baby girls and quickly began brainstorming a bowl design that would allow for a free hand and easy feeding. Soon, The Baby Dipper Bowl was born.

I now wish that I had a stack of Baby Dipper Bowls and Spoons because, really, it is ingenious. The Baby Dipper’s sloped interior surface and spoon-shaped collection, helps gather the food down to the last bite. Its vertical sides help push food onto the spoon, and since the sides are transparent, the food is easily seen by both the parent and the child.

With The Baby Dipper Bowl, learning to self-feed becomes easy and mess free for a toddler. Feeding an infant becomes easier for the busy mom who now has one hand free.

I have been using The Baby Dipper with my nine month old and it really does make feeding a breeze. I absolutely love the fact that the bowl is sloped, allowing the spoon to easily scoop up every bit.

My two-year-old has used it as well and he does a great job feeding himself while keeping himself nice and clean at the same time.

For those of you who have been getting by all this time without a Baby Dipper, you don’t know what you are missing.

In fact, we would like to help out two moms with their feedings.

We have a Baby Dipper Bowl and Spoon set to give away to two lucky readers.

I always hated the metal baby spoons with their sharp edges, And it’s been a tradition of mine to always tie a rubber tip spoon on top of every baby shower gift I have ever giving. The spoon looks wonderful no rough metal ridges to hurt there sensitive mouths and the bowl is just plain genius as far as I’m concerned. I think maybe I should change my tradition to include this set in every baby shower gift instead. I have a my first grand daughter born Christmas eve and I would love for her to be the first one to get one :) Thanks For Sharing~!

My nine month old just started eating food. I’ve been nursing her exclusively and trust me; she’s all rolls and chins just from breastmilk. Cannot imagine what she’ll be like when she’s chowing down on food. This looks great!
