Ouch Pouch Will Save The Day

I admit it, trying to find something in my purse, is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. It’s a sad sight. A couple of weeks ago, when my daughter skinned her knee while out on a walk, the poor thing sat by my side with giant crocodile tears, as I frantically searched through my purse for a band-aid. I can’t tell you how many wrappers, receipts and tissues I came across before finally finding a band-aid.

Karen, owner and founder of the Ouch Pouch had that scenario in mind, when she created the perfect pouch for families on the go.

The Ouch Pouch is roomy enough to be filled with antiseptic wipes for cleansing, tweezers for splinters, Neosporin for cuts and scrapes, Band-Aids, headache or allergy medicine, mosquito ointment, small sunscreen and of course, a small lollipop to make the owie go away.

Importantly for children with asthma conditions, it can hold a small inhaler.

It is the perfect size – small enough to easily be tossed into a purse, diaper bag or even your back pocket, yet large enough to stand out amidst the receipts, snacks, wipes and little toys filling up your purse.

Ouch Pouches are handmade (double stitched) using quality fabrics and 16 gauge clear poly vinyl, with a colorful snap closure with 60 different styles to choose from, both sophisticated for mom’s and fun styles for children. The Ouch Pouch logo is stitched into the front fold-over flap. They retail for under $6.00. It is a perfect little treat for yourself or a friend.

I was delighted to have Karen send a “pre-filled” Ouch Pouch my way. It did take me a good hour, however, to choose the design I liked the most for my Ouch Pouch. There are so many adorable prints to choose from. Take a look for yourself.

If you stop by Karen’s shop for a purchase, please let her know that you found out about Ouch Pouch from 5 Minutes for Mom.

My Ouch Pouch now takes up residence in my messy purse. I do my best to always keep it filled with band-aids, neosporin and a few lollipops. It has been a lifesaver several times now. Karen also sent extra Ouch Pouches my way, which I handed off to a few close friends. They have loved the Ouch Pouch just as much as I have.

The only drawback I can find, is that my oldest daughter now knows exactly where to go in my purse to find a lollipop. Yes, she has been a Dum Dum thief from time to time. But this also means that she knows exactly where to look in my purse for a band-aid. She has been quite the helper, nursing scratches on her younger brother’s arm.

We want to make sure one reader is always prepared, so we have one “pre-filled” Ouch Pouch (winners choice) to give away – a $24.95 value.

What a great idea to send to Grandma’s when the kids visit, so she has all the items there…just in case. My husband would also love to have one of these in the car to have on hand when he coaches several kids teams. Ya never know!!! I would give one to my son when they have to travel hours just to get to any family, with 2 toddlers in tow. It would be a God send!!!
