My son woke up the other morning to a big surprise. There on the table was a special cake just for him. It wasn’t one to eat, however. His cake was a 2 tiered delight filled with special bathtime treats.
He received brand new football towels, a plush teddy bear, adorable football pajamas, bath wash, bubble bath and some fun bath toys.
My son was beyond thrilled. In fact, my two-year-old, who has been a bit delayed in his speech, began shouting, “football, football”, repeatedly. He was so very excited. My husband and I were also ecstatic that he was being so verbal. We love when he says new words. And that day, football was a new word.
Of course, into the bath he went, armed with his new frog bath toys. He was also thrilled to have giant bubbles in his bath, thanks to his new bubble bath for sensitive skin, that was included in his Bathtime Towel Cake. My son suffers from extreme eczema, so he usually takes baths with special soaps that don’t create many bubbles.
After a horrible reaction to bubble bath in the past, I haven’t even considered purchasing bubble bath. I had no idea that there was a special kind for sensitive skin.
