Lift, Tone and Burn With Pure Barre

I really do enjoy working out, but I hardly ever seem to make the time for it, especially when it involves leaving the house. Sometimes getting my three kids ready, to head to the gym, is a workout in and of itself. It is because of this, that I prefer workout videos.

I have done my fair share of workout videos, but had yet to find one that I truly loved. So when we were contacted by Pure Barre to try out their workout that fuses together ballet, pilates and weights, I jumped at the chance.

And really, I was pleasantly surprised. The Pure Barre workout is incredible!!! INCREDIBLE!!! It is fun, it is tough and it really works you out!

It is one of those workouts that leaves you feeling accomplished, and you actually do see results pretty quickly!

The Pure Barre Technique is a total body workout that burns fat and produces lifted seats, toned arms, thin thighs, and flat abs by fusing elements of ballet, pilates and weights in a 55 minute intense session.

Pure Barre is intelligent exercise. The technique protects your joints as it does not involve any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section in order to create long, lean muscle without bulk. The workout launches a full blown attack on the areas of the body all women struggle with: abs, hips, seat and arms. It defies gravity by tapering everything in and lifting it up.

The workout requires such focus that you block “life” out for the hour allowing you to obtain the mental benefits achieved in yoga or meditation. A transformed body and a clear head in just one hour- it doesn’t get much better than this.

Up above it says, “the workout launches a full blown attack.” Let me tell you, that is no joke! The very first time I did the Pure Barre DVD, I had to stop halfway through, because my legs were like jello. They were shaking like crazy. I was definitely working out muscles that I hadn’t worked out in years. In fact my body was probably wondering what I was doing to it. But you know what, it felt good! There is something about the shaking and the burning that leaves you feeling great about yourself.

    Oh baby would I love to drop my baby weight with Pure Barre! I am not the normal nurser who sheds weight in a blink of an eye. Oh no not me. I seem to stay heavy even though I am nursing around the clock. I could really use a good workout!

    I had my second child a few months ago and I have been trying to get up early in the morning as often as possible (usually ends up being 5-6 mornings a week)to do a workout video.I do the Jillian Michael’s videos and there is lot of jumping — maybe that’s why I now feel like I have the knees of a 50-year-old?     This would be awesome! I just had a baby back in April and it wound up being a c-section. Even though I dont gain weight from pregnancy(thanks to HG morning sickness the whole pregnancy) I had alot of extra weight from before, and my plan was to take the kids on walks after my daughter was born…the c-section but a big halt to that, then there were a few snags in the healing process…and lets just say I weigh more now then I did before. So needless to say I would love this!
