The Britax Blink – your perfect stroller solution!

Do you remember seeing “The List” when you were pregnant with your first child? You know, the list of all those things we are supposed to buy as expectant parents. The crib, the clothes, the diapers, the diaper bag, and the strollers. Ah yes, the strollers!

It amazed me that someone so little needed so many ways to be transported — the full size stroller (a.k.a. the mall-stroller), the active strollers (the jogger and all-terrain strollers), and the lightweight strollers (the “umbrella” strollers). And that is just if you have one kid!

I’ve never been a big fan of the “umbrella strollers”. Sure, they are compact and easy to toss into the trunk when heading out and about but there is no place to put all of our stuff. My kids travel with a lot of stuff. Even if we are just heading to the mall, my kids travel with a lot of stuff!

Then I had the chance to try the new Blink by Britax!

My daughter rockin' the farmers' market in her sunglasses and the Blink stroller by Britax!

My daughter rockin' the farmers' market in her sunglasses and the Blink stroller by Britax!

The Blink is amazing! From the minute I unpacked the nearly fully assembled stroller from the box, I was impressed. Simply snap on the canopy and front wheels and you’re ready to go!

My whole family loves this stroller. My husband loves how comfortable it is to push. He’s 6’2″ and I’m 5’1″ and we both felt the handle-bar height was very comfortable. My girls enjoy the smooth ride provided by the all-wheel suspension and that they can peak at me through the canopy.

My favorite features of the Blink are how compact it packs up, how light it is when you carry it with the portable carrying strap, and that it so comfortable for both my 1.5 year old and my 3 year old!

The Blink actually has storage, too! The basket underneath is perfect for storing my kids toys, blankies, water bottles, and the goodies I pick up from the farmers’ market. The storage pouch on the back of the stroller is a perfect place to keep my keys, phone, and anything else I want to have handy!!!

The only problem…my kids arguing over who gets to ride in the stroller now!

Blink features:

  • All-Wheel Suspension
  • Clever Fold Release Mechanism for easy folding
  • Compact Fold is handy for quick trips or long excursions
  • Heavy Duty Construction with 55 lb. child weight capacity
  • Large Canopy with Visor to block wind, rain, and harmful UV rays

  • One-Foot, Linked Rear Brake locks both rear wheels with one step
  • Portable Carry Strap allows you to easily carry the stroller while keeping your hands free
  • Accessible Storage Pouch and Spacious Under Seat Storage
  • Five-Point Harness

Retailing at just $149.99, the Blink is an amazingly affordable and practical solution when it comes to choosing a stroller!!!

Favorite “feature”? You mean “feature(s)? Wow, there are so many1 I’ve never seen a stroller with so many options. I have yet to find a little stroller that reclines so, we are riding on two back wheels with a blanket for head support :) The 55lb weight limit is also great but at the rate Evan is going it would last him till he’s 10!
Thanks for introducing me to this stroller.

Love the STORAGE – because no stroller should be without it! And I love that it can accomodate small ones as well as bigger toddlers … I am about to have my second, and I would love a versatile stroller!

Thanks for offering such a great giveaway :)

We Metro into DC often, and a lightweight easily-foldable stroller is KEY on the train! Storage for the two bigger siblings’ collections on adventures is critical, so this momma doesn’t get bogged down with heavy backpacks all the time. Looks like a charmer!

I can’t choose one feature. I like the double-wheels and the fact that it has all-wheel suspension. We often use our strollers off-sidewalk and need one that can get through gravel or grass easily.

I like that it looks like an umbrella stroller type, but it has recline!! IT’s a hybrid between a regular stroller and umbrella stroller.

And the basket isn’t so low to the ground that it will drag if you put something heavy in it. LOL!!

That is a great looking stroller, but from Britax, I”m not surprised.

    April E.

The sun shade looks sturdier than the typical umbrella stroller shade.

I was admiring the features on the Blink stroller. My son would love to have this for my little grandson. Their children so close together, they were using a double stroller. Now Hunter is older and the family more mobile. My son in last year of college and always running like crazy on weekends to catch up on errands!! This product has GREAT storage. Boy, I wish they had these available when I had my kids. The strollers were TOO cheap and lightweight, or too big and cumbersome to maneuver. Grandmas always want better for their little angels!!!

I, just like you, love the lightweight + basket features. My nephew is one of those hyperactive kids and he’s really smart so he figures toys out and sets them aside when he’s done. My sister has to keep him entertained while they’re out so the basket would be great for extra toys.

I like that it is lightweight but can hold a 55 lb child. Most smaller compact strollers won’t hold my chunky three year old but this one could without being a super bulky thing.

The simpliest, easiest to use stroller is always the best. I have struggle to much with huge strollers in past. To big to pack, takes six legs and arms to fold and unfold while trying to comfort a crying child.

There are a few things I like about the Blink. The first is that it’s light weight, but still a bit more sturdy than some umbrella strollers. I also like that it is tall enough for my husband (6’3″) and I (5’6″) to push comfortably. And of coarse you can’t live without some place to put your stuff, and the Blink has the basket below as well as the zipper compartment. And for my son: reclining capability. Seems like we’d all be happy.

I would love the fact that it folds up so conveniently, and that it has storage! Most umbrella strollers are uncomfortably short for me, and I feel like I am tripping over them, even though I’m not abnormally tall. So that would also be a definite bonus.

I like that it is lightweight yet comfy – the good parts of the umbrella and the good parts of a traditional stroller together.

Love, LOVE that it has a canopy to block the sun. Umbrella strollers with a good canopy are so hard to find. Yay for Britax

My daughter could really use a lightweight stroller like this for my 2 yr old granddaughter. Her stroller was broken by the airline recently. The wheel is bent and it’s really hard to push. Thanks!

I like the One-Foot, Linked Rear Brake locks both rear wheels with one step feature best, I hate the ones that you have to lock the wheels individually.

I like that the handles seem to be at a good height. My SO and I are 6’2″ and 5’10″…a lot of strollers are hard on the back due to lower handles.

The whole stroller sounds amazing. It is hard to choose a favorite part. Storage and the harness would have to be huge bonuses for me because my current stroller is lacking in both of these aspects.
