Michael Bublé Meets Madison Square Garden

Before previewing this concert DVD, I didn’t know much about Michael Bublé.

I knew that he had quite a following. In fact, a few years ago, a friend and I were talking about music. She said, “I don’t know what kind of music I like. I don’t know what it’s called. Have you heard of Michael Bublé?”

Always a smart aleck, I answered, “Oh, you like music for middle-aged ladies. . . .”

Well, I stand corrected. Michael Bublé is really cool. This CD/DVD package had behind the scenes information about Michael’s family, his first gig, his musicians and more. After watching it, I can tell you that he’s got talent, and he loves what he does. The Madison Square Garden concert featured here was the final stop on a two-year tour.

After previewing his music, I too am a fan.

Following his first #1 Pop album and his third platinum-plus disc, 2007′s Grammy® winning Call Me Irresponsible, singing sensation Michael Bublé returns to the stage with the live CD+DVD package Michael Bublé Meets Madison Square Garden (CD/DVD). Featuring powerful performances of his hits “Everything,” “Home” and “Feeling Good,” he brings the December 2008 concert at one of the most famous venues in entertainment history home.

The DVD is not a full concert DVD, but rather a series of interviews and concert snippets. If you are already a fan of Michael Bublé, then you’ll love this prize package. If you aren’t, but you like some of the old masters from the 40′s, 50′s, and 60′s, give him a listen. If he still doesn’t do it for you, pass your prize along to your nearest and dearest middle-aged lady.

    For our 12 year wedding anniversay, in two years (12 is a significant number to my husband and I because my birthday is April 12th, his is July 12th and our wedding date is June 12th) we are planning to renew our wedding vows and my husband would like to sing Michael Buble’s You’re My Everything to me.     I love the classics of the big band era! I grew up on Harry James, Clyde McCoy, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, and Michael Buble’s music reminds me so much of those songs!
