Keep your memories with Plumkeeper

Written by Stacey

As a mom of two active girls and the owner of a recently adopted puppy, I have so many fun stories and events that I want to share with my friends and family. I also want to keep a record of those stories and events so that, in a few years — when the madness slows down — I can look back and enjoy them.

Yes, I have a blog where I write about a lot of the big stuff. I Twitter some of the small every day things. I post pictures of the family on Facebook and Flickr. And I did make baby books for both of my girls, although I've never been a big scrapbooker. But it seems like of my "stories" and memories are scattered in too many places.

I need a way to gather all of those "stories" and event details into one place. I need Plumkeeper!

Plumkeeper is a new online service that works like a private online journal. Why is Plumkeeper different from all of the other online programs out there? First, you can easily invite other people to participate in your journal. Set someone up as an 'Owner' and they will have the ability to add entries and invite other people. Or you can allow them to simply view your entries via a blog view or email digest by making them a 'Follower'.

The biggest difference that sets Plumkeeper apart from the rest is probably my favorite part about the service. If you are like me and you are spread out into a bunch of different social media sites, you will love the fact that Plumkeeper can pull in your stories and events from such sites as Facebook and Twitter! Based on the preferences you set, Plumkeeper will pull all of your tweets or Facebook updates — or just the ones that mention family names — into your journal!

You can even make journal entries via Text-Messages, Picture-Messages, and Email! Photos can easily be placed into your journal entries directly from your computer, Facebook albums, and Flickr!

Plumkeeper could not make it any easier for you to journal. Oh, wait, they did! You can also set 'Parent Helpers' which sends you an email on a regular basis to prompt you to make entries into your journal. Simply reply to the email and your responses are automatically put into your journal!

So, whether you are a busy mom or you just can't find the time (or energy) to journal or scrapbook, whether you dabble in the many social media sites out there or you've just never tried your hand at blogging, you will love the simplicity and practicality of Plumkeeper!!!

Plumkeeper is currently in private beta and is only letting a certain number of users in each week. However, Plumkeeper is generously allowing 100 of our readers to sign-up!!! That's right, 100 of you will soon be starting your FREE online journalling experience.

To become one of those lucky winners, simply be one of the first 100 to click on this link!!!

You know I was sitting in the chair the other day.Just day dreaming and thinking." You know I can remember way back when I was growing up,the little things I remenbered about growing up.I need to sit down and go way back to when I was born,( of course I don't remember that part). But to jot down the memories that I can think of,and start a memory book.So I can pass onto my children as a Remembrance Book.Recipes that I have made with my mother, pets I had growing up.Something that they could treasure

I have boxes of pictures and awards and mementos from my daughter. She is having her first daughter this fall and I would love to start something she and her daughter can actually enjoy looking at together (easily)

What a wonderful way to keep a journal for my son to read when he is older! Thanks!

This sounds like a great idea… But it seems unlikely that it will remin free once they get going. Am I going to end up feeling trapped into subscribing, if I invest my time in it now? Hmmmm…

Thanks. I like it a lot, I only spent a few minutes there but it is really cool. I love the twitter & facebook feature. You can even text to it, very cool. I've tried doing private blog, etc but never keep up with it. Hopefully I will do better with plumkeeper!
