I Can Do That! Games

As a parent, I want to do the best that I can to encourage my children and build up their self-esteem.

I understand that my kids, especially my two-year-old, hear the words, “No”, “Stop it’, and “Please don’t do that”, often. Because of this, I make it a point to praise my children numerous times throughout the day. I love seeing that sense of pride on their faces when they master a new skill, and realize that yes, they can do it!

I Can Do That! Games™ foster self-confidence by giving kids a chance to discover what they can do. Favorite Dr. Seuss and Curious George characters come to life—challenging kids to run, slide, hide, seek, sort, explore—and more! By engaging kids physically, socially, and creatively, I Can Do That! Games™ provide endless hours of fun for the whole family.

Founded in 2007, I Can Do That! Games™ has won praise from some of the toughest critics out there—toy testers, child development experts, teachers, parents, and most importantly—kids!

I had the true pleasure of reviewing The Cat In The Hat, I Can Do That Game with my five-year-old daughter. We had a lot of fun and shared many laughs as we passed each challenge given to us.

Some of the silly challenges entailed spinning while holding a fish under our chin or being careful not to drop the toy boat, as we did the limbo under the trick-a-ma-stick. My daughter was also thrilled that the game was based on one of her favorite books, the Cat In The Hat.

Some of the challenges that she received did seem a little tough, but I convinced her to try it anyway, and she was pleasantly surprised to learn that she could do it. The game’s purpose was definitely fulfilled. She also enjoyed watching her daddy complete his silly challenges. There were plenty of giggles and smiles, and we all got to shout, I Can Do That!


Some of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters make for tons of I Can Do That fun. With a great selection to choose from, you and your children can go to the rescue with Horton, make a speedy meal in the Green Eggs and Ham Speedy Diner, sing your heart out with the Grinch and take a wild adventure through life’s possibilities with Oh The Places You’ll Go.

Curious George has also joined in on the I Can Do That! Games™ fun. The Curious George Discovery Beach, Super Helper and Hide and Seek Zoo bring the fun loving and curious monkey into your living room for an educational, entertaining and positive time.

The Dr. Seuss I Can Do That! Games™ are available at Target, Toys R Us, Barnes & Noble, Borders, Amazon.com, and at mass and specialty retailers nationwide. The Curious George I Can Do That! Games™ are available at Target, Target.com and specialty retail outlets.

    I am a pediatric PT. I use this game with some of the children I work with. They all love it! It is a great way to challenge their gross motor skills, to sequence words, learn the concepts of under, around, etc, and to follow commands. Plus, the games are just plain FUN.

    3 Grandchildren – Boy 7 and 2 girls 5 & 3. The girls want to be with their big (1/2) brother all the time when he is with them on the weekends. This game would be great for them to share time and have fun together without him complaining about “girly” things.

    As my 1 year old granddaughter gets older I plan to read classic books to her on the phone with us each having a copy in out lap. Playing games with the same characters is a natural.

    My top two favorite of all time is Dr. Seuss & Alice In Wonderland!
    Dr. Seuss’s Sneeches is MY ALL TIME favorite.
