Wonder Bumpers – making life easier, safer, and more enjoyable!

SIDS is very scary to think about as a parent. We do our best to do everything possible to protect our kids. With this in mind, some decisions were easy for me to make as I prepared for the birth of my daughter: No extra blankets or toys in the crib. Then there were the other decisions that were not so easy: Crib bumpers!

Many pediatricians advise against crib bumpers as they believe they are a SIDS risk. But I also hated the idea of my little one bumping her head on the hard rails of the crib. The women behind Go Mama Go Designs saw this parenting dilemma and came up with a very stylish and very safe answer — Wonder Bumpers!

Wonder Bumpers take the traditional horizontal crib bumper and turn it on it’s side, literally! The vertical bumper wraps tightly around each individual crib rail, increasing airflow and inhibiting babies from escaping the crib! The concealed reversible zipper eliminates the need for ties, eliminating a potential choking hazard.

It is also recommended that traditional bumpers be removed when the child is able to stand in the crib, as the bumper can be used as a way for your little escape artist to launch themselves out of the crib. With Wonder Bumpers there is no need to remove them because they run the entire height of the crib rail. The Wonder Bumpers can even stay on the rails long after you convert your crib into a toddler bed!

Wonder Bumpers are a cinch to put on and take off for easy cleaning. And, because each crib rail is wrapped with an individual bumper, you are able to express your own creativity and style! Each set is designed to be reversible so you can choose to wrap all of the rails in print or solid or mix and match between the two. Or, and this is the part I love, pick up two different set designs and mix it up between the two designs (which ends up being four designs with the reversible side)! The possibilities are endless!

The nine different designs are available in sets of 24 or 38 to accommodate all crib sizes. Go Mama Go Designs also offers entire crib collections which include the bumpers, a super-soft sheet, matching pleated crib skirt, and a Sung & Tug swaddling blanket! Hint Hint: These would be an amazing baby shower gift!!

Go Mama Go Designs is offering one of you the chance to take home your very own set of 38 Wonder Bumpers! To enter simply leave a comment on this post by Friday, March 20th (the winner will be announced on Saturday, March 21st). This giveaway is open to all US and Canadian addresses.

The Lotus design with the green reverse side would match the little guy’s nursery colors. I would be so relieved if my niece had these on her new son’s crib.
