We love music in our house. We love listening to music, making music, and singing. It is always such a treat when we find new music to add to our playlists. And it is even better when I get to share with my girls the same songs I loved singing at their ages.
Kathy and Janet Lennon, from the legendary Lennon Sisters and creators of Best Pals, have just released their latest CD featuring 12 favorite songs to sing along with! Best Pals Sing Together includes great children’s classics like A Bushel and a Peck, How Much is that Doggie in the Window, and Let’s Go Fly a Kite. I love singing along with all of them but my daughter’s favorite is definitely Animal Monkey Medley!
I think this CD appeals to children especially because of the combination of adult and children voices they hear on each song. Kathy and Janet have teamed up with their beautiful grand-daughters, Lia, Ana, and Jenna for this very special CD. Not only do these girls follow in their talented grandmothers’ footsteps with their sweet voices, but Lia also co-wrote two brand new original songs for the CD with Janet’s husband John Bahler. This is truly a very talented family!
The Lennon Sisters first captured America’s hearts when they debuted on “The Lawrence Welk Show” on Christmas Eve, 1955. More than 50 years later, best pals Kathy and Janet Lennon have re-captured our hearts with their charming Best Pals products. Best Pals returns us to simpler times with their traditional soft cloth rag dolls (exact replicas of the hand sewn dolls from their childhood), classic tea set, and beautifully composed music. Best Pals also offers three darling multicultural rag dolls and a little boy rag doll, “Danny Boy”.

When I was young our neighbors would invite my 2 sisters and I over to watch the Lawerence Welk show with them every week. They were a sweet couple whose children and grandchildren lived away. It was wonderful we would have popcorn and Soda( no soda at home) and watch with them. I loved the Lennon Sisters. Thank for the giveaway. I would love to have this cd to share with the kiddos.

It’s great that the Jonas Brothers are so popular. But I remember that The Lennnon Sisters were the original young, family singers with manners, personality and a sense of respect and gratitude. Good for them for continuing their timeless, heartwarming style and setting the example for the next generations.
